Does this bin look like Donald Trump? The internet thinks so

A bin that has been described as the '˜double' of controversial US President has gone viral.

The photo, which was taken over three years ago in Paris, sparked photoshopping competition when it was re-shared on social media in the wake of the brash billionaire’s coronation.

The box-on-top of a bin image was first shared on social media site Reddit and was quickly edited into pictures including featuring the Trump bin on Mount Rushmore or sharing a lift with Nigel Farage.

Originally taken even before Trump was even a candidate, the image has taken on new prominence even as the scandal surrounding the 45th President continues to grow.

He has been a subject of internet ridicule ever since launching his campaign in June 2015 with controversial comments about Mexican all the way to his shock victory over Hillary Clinton.
