Ryanair jobs cuts threat to flights

FLIGHTS between Edinburgh and Germany could be hit after budget airline Ryanair axed 1,000 jobs.

The cutbacks at Frankfurt Hahn airport will affect flight frequencies to and from Edinburgh and Stansted.

Ryanair blamed next summer's cuts on a new German €8 (07) tourist tax.
