Reports in France claim Celtic boss told Moussa Dembele to join Brighton
They claim Dembele has met with both Rodgers and the Celtic board as he aims to push through a transfer to Lyon.
The striker is reportedly unhappy for three reasons that the club have so far been unwilling to accept an offer from the Ligue 1 side.

Hide AdHe wants to know why Rodgers has blocked his move despite previously pushing for Dembele to accept offers and telling him the club was “not big enough” for the 22-year-old. He’s also said to be upset that Celtic are adamant they won’t sell him without a replacement, despite a squad rotation policy in the striking corps last season.
Dembele took to Twitter on Thursday evening to express his dissatisfaction with the situation.
The first, a meme, read: “A man, without his word, is nothing. A real man keeps his word.”
He then followed that up by writing: “Don’t get it wrong Bhoys and Ghirls nothing to do with people who really care about the club @CelticFC too much respect for you and the crest #CarefulWhoYouCallTheLeaderOfYours” With this he posted another meme, this one read: “A lie has many variations, the truth none.”
