Boxing: Haye up for fight with Klitschkos
The Londoner officially retired in October but was known to be ready to fight again if the opportunity arose for him to avenge his July defeat by Wladimir Klitschko or take on his elder brother.
Haye, 31, confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets in sport, telling the BBC’s Hardtalk programme: “I haven’t seen a contract but there’s definitely talks going on. I said before I retired I would love that fight and there’s a date in March that’s already been talked about.”

Hide AdThe Ukrainian brothers always claimed negotiations had been taking place over a meeting with 40-year-old Vitali, the WBC champion, following Haye’s unification loss to IBF/WBO champion Wladimir in Hamburg earlier this year.
Haye had already stated he had merely “retired from fighting anyone without the Klitschko surname” as he looks to redeem himself following a poor showing against Wladimir in the summer.
