Baboon troop puts Hyundai’s new car to the test

For ten hours the new car was inspected, chewed, pulled, poked and prodded by the mischievous monkeys.
Baboons are notoriously nosy, especially around cars — as anyone who’s ever visited a safari park might be well aware of — so they were ideal for this particular inspection job.

Hide AdDavid Ross of Knowsley safari park said: “I’ve seen thousands of cars pass through this enclosure, get mobbed by monkeys, and none have lasted the distance as well as this”.
Hyundai donated £1,000 to the Primate society of Great Britain in return for the use of Knowsley’s primates, luckily for the car manufacturer their new model came away looking nearly unscathed.
