Scottish trains disrupted after Glasgow incident
The man survived the incident involving a Garscadden to Edinburgh train, which happened just north of the station at about 5:40am.
ScotRail said delays and cancellations were likely until 11:30am. The collision had far-reaching effects because it happened on a section of track through which a wide variety of suburban and pan-Central Belt trains are funnelled before spreading out across a range of routes.

Hide AdIt is understood the man’s injuries are non-life threatening and the incident is being treated as “non-suspicious”.
ScotRail said services began returning to normal at 05:50am but some may still be revised at short notice and last until 11:30am.
National Rail Enquiries said: “The line is now open and trains can begin to run as normal, though some services may still be cancelled or delayed by up to 20 minutes.”
