Line of Duty: 'They blew up so much we sold over 100 the next couple of days': AC-12 empire biscuits fly off the shelves of the Brooklyn cafe in Glasgow
‘Your goose has been cooked’, ‘Hastings like the battle’, ‘The letter of the law’ and ‘Bent Copper’ are all quotes which can be seen inscribed across the jam-filled goodies being sold at the Brooklyn Cafe in Shawlands.
After selling out on Saturday, the Southside cafe created more cop drama biscuits for their Sunday customers just in time for the show airing that night on the BBC.

Hide AdSpeaking about the popular goodies, Jonny McDonald – manager at the Brooklyn Cafe – said: “We do different themes every week and the boss has been engrossed in Line of Duty with his family so we told him to get the icing pens out and do a few.
“We just did a batch of maybe 20 or so one day and they blew up so much we sold over 100 the next couple of days.
"The response on social media has been massive across all platforms.
"The great thing is these biscuits can be made vegan as well so that boosted the reach as well.”
The biscuits will be available over the week but the cafe also has a ‘finale box’ planned for the final episode of season six.
Mr McDonald added: “We will launch the details of the finale box just after the penultimate episode of the season so details will be out on the April 25 with a limited edition biscuit twice the size of the normal ones in each box.”
