A92 crash: A man has been killed and a woman serious injured after a crash involving a car and lorry
A man has died and a woman has been seriously injured after their car was involved in a crash with a lorry in Angus.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident on the A92 St Cyrus to Montrose road, at Kinnaber, on Saturday afternoon after a lorry was in collision with a Kia Picanto car.

Hide AdThe 53-year-old male driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene while his female passenger was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee after suffering serious injuries.
Sergeant John Learmonth, of Police Scotland’s road policing unit at Perth, said: “Our thoughts are with the deceased’s family at this tragic time.
“The road was closed for approximately 10 hours yesterday as officers worked to establish the exact circumstances. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
