I am disgusted to learn that the town of Lewes in East Sussex was planning to burn a giant effigy of First Minister Alex Salmond.
Burning effigies of real people is sinister and violent. People who do this sort of thing should stop for a moment and think about what it might be like for the child of a person being victimised in this way.
It’s not on.
