Killing for fun?
I have been following with interest the debate on these pages about birds of prey such as golden eagles and the role that landowners – and the presence of other fauna – play in their numbers.
Every action has a knock-on effect in nature, but there is one thing I’ve never been able to understand, and that is why some people enjoy killing animals for fun.
I completely understand (though don’t always agree with) culling arguments but, putting those aside, can someone explain to me why killing is considered a fun thing to do?
