Hunt for ceremonial jewellery continues
A gold ring and cross pendant were in a bag on a luggage trolley in the taxi area when they disappeared early on Friday morning.
The bag is described as a “very distinctive” brown saddle-style with Peruvian-style embroidery.

Hide AdThe gold ring has an amethyst stone bearing a burning bush and St Andrews cross with the motto “Nec Tamen Consumebatur”. The cross pendant is on a silver link neck chain.
A spokesperson from the Church of Scotland said: “We are praying that these articles will be returned in the very near future.
“These items are not the Moderator’s own jewellery. They are of significant historical importance and belong to the Church of Scotland.
“We would be grateful for any help the public can give to help trace their whereabouts.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Inquiries are ongoing but we are appealing for anyone who may have any information regarding this to get in touch by calling 101”.
