FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspected chemical incident at St John’s Hospital in Livingston this morning.

They were called out shortly after 11am after reports of problems in the laundry room.

A spokesman for the fire service said that the alarm had been caused by hydrogen peroxide leaking from pipes in the laundry room.
