Dundee Violet 1-1 Bo’ness United: Eight-man Bo’ness cling on for replay
The visitors went ahead on 21 minutes when Ian Nimmo fired home a low shot from the edge of the box. Violet fought back and equalised just before the break when Stewart McConnachie went down in the box. Ryan Kennedy was sent off for the “last man” challenge and Bryan Duell scored from the resulting penalty.
There were no goals in the second half, but Will Snowdon was sent off after receiving a second yellow and with ten minutes remaining Bo’ness went down to eight men when Nicky Walker was red carded after going for the ball against Graeme Gibb, but it was the Violet defender who had dived in with his studs showing.
