Michael Duffy set to join Celtic from Derry City
Duffy - who scored 15 goals for the Candystripes last season - had two trial spells with Celtic and scored twice in a development match against Newcastle United.
Although the player himself ruled out a third trial with the Hoops, it appears the midfielder, who can also operate as a striker, is set to join Celtic after the club appeared to have cooled their interest in the Northern Ireland Under-21 international.

“We thought it was dead in the water, then Celtic contacted at us to say they wanted to sign him.
“I believe Michael is discussing personal terms.”
Duffy signed a new deal with Derry in October 2014, keeping him at the Brandywell Stadium until 2016.
