Celtic linked with Elche striker Jonathas
Graham Hunter told Sky Sports’ Revista De La Liga that the Hoops have had the Brazilian watched on a number of occasions this season.
Hunter said: “The champions of Scotland have been at many of Jonathas’ matches to watch him [this season], so if he’s leaving, it’s not guaranteed where he will go.”

Hide AdJonathas, who is at Elche on loan from Italian outfit Pescara, is reportedly a target for Sevilla following his form for Los Franjiverdes this season.
Elche are currently 13th in La Liga, ahead of teams including Levante, Deportivo La Coruna and Almeria, and Jonathas has pitched in with 12 goals in 35 games for Fran Escribá’s men.
Jonathas, 26, has had something of a nomadic career so far, having turned out for the likes of Cruzeiro in his home land; Dutch side AZ Alkmaar and Brescia, Torino and Pescara in Italy.
But Celtic could face competition from Chelsea, with Jose Mourinho reported in February to have earmarked the Brazilian forward as a potential replacement for Didier Drogba.
