Enter the Scots dragon down under
During coverage of the Hopman Cup tennis event in Perth, Western Australia, on Wednesday the cameras focused in on an ex-pat spectator waving the distinctive red lion on a yellow background flag attached to Scotland and Australia scarves in support of Andy Murray, who was in the heat of mixed doubles battle with young Laura Robson in the tie against Germany.
"There's a bit of everything going on there," said the 1987 Wimbledon champion, who has lived in London for the past 20 years. "What was that dragon flag? I thought the dragon was Welsh? I'm sure someone will email in and tell us."

"Apparently the Welsh dragon is red on a green background, while the Scottish dragon is red on a yellow background. So there you go," explained Cash. "I only knew the Welsh one, I didn't know about the Scottish breed of dragon."
Remarkable stuff and if Murray had heard it he would surely have been breathing fire.
