Police criticised for leaving work undone
A POLICE force was slammed yesterday for instructing officers not to chase criminals at the end of a shift, in an effort to cut overtime payments.
Instead, West Midlands Police actively encourages officers to hand over their cases to colleagues once their working hours are up.
