Record £161m lottery prize claimed by UK ticket-holder
Europe's biggest-ever lottery jackpot of £161 million has been paid out to a UK ticket-holder, Camelot said.
A total of 161,653,000 was won in Tuesday night's EuroMillions draw. The ticket-holder is currently deciding whether to go public or remain anonymous.
It is not yet known if the prize has been won by an individual or a syndicate. The lucky UK player matched all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars to land the bumper prize.
