Under the belt
This problem must be solved. One could bring back the belt or Lochgelly tawse, which was a most effective means of discipline, or some other methods might be employed.
It is a problem that usually does not exist after leaving school as the threat of losing one’s job gives discipline.

I recall how difficult it was to teach when one pupil would lie on the floor, kicking his legs, shouting: “Stop kicking me, Sir.”
I was nowhere near him and had no intention of kicking him but it gave the class entertainment.
We have got our parliament back after centuries. Although it needs more powers in other directions it could solve this and enforce a solution here. Otherwise, bring the belt or Lochgelly back.
