The cost of battle
In fact, there is a full range of affordable options. Costs per day are as follows: adult ticket: £20; concession/child ticket: £12.50. And there is a well-discounted option for families: family ticket – two adults and two children (under 14): £55 (plus booking fees).

Hide AdWe’ve aimed to keep ticket prices for the event at the most reasonable and competitive levels possible.
The charge of £55 for a family ticket for an entire day’s entertainment compares very favourably with other events and visitor attractions which target the family audience, such as a trip to the cinema, which only offers a couple of hours of entertainment.
The event takes place shortly after the opening of the new Battle of Bannockburn Visitor Centre, which will tell the story of the battle using the finest interactive technology.
Bannockburn Live, however, will draw around 15,000 people per day, which means for practical reasons that we have to limit access to the new centre.
Nevertheless, most visitors will enjoy the spectacle of one of the largest battle re-enactments held in Scotland and a specially created programme packed with music, Scottish food and drink, crafts, literature and outdoor activities.
The new visitor centre will endure to tell the story of the battle and why it is so significant.
We hope visitors will take the opportunity to use the centre in the months and years to come and we look forward to welcoming them.
