John Bage, 36, pleaded guilty to repeatedly head-butting the pavement during a drunken incident, and also admitted lying down in the middle of West Main Street, in Whitburn.
Livingston Sheriff Court heard that there was ‘no focus’ for Bage - a regular offender - to be put under supervision again.

Hide AdBage had also told social workers he was unwilling to be fitted with an electronic tag under a home detention curfew.
Background reports from social work said he was not fit to do unpaid work as part of a community payback order, leaving prison as the only option.
Sentence was deferred for three weeks for a medical report and Bage was released on bail.
