Probe as man dies in police custody after Kirkcaldy arrest
A man has died in police custody after being arrested in Fife yesterday.
Police in Kirkcaldy say they are investigating after 36-year-old man died.
It follows reports of three ambulances at Kirkcaldy police station this morning in what officers said was “a medical matter”.

Hide AdA Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The Police Investigations and Review Commissioner (PIRC) is carrying out a Crown-directed investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 36-year-old man who was taken into custody at Kirkcaldy Police Station on Thursday, 17 September, 2020.
"Police Scotland will co-operate fully with the PIRC's enquiries."
