While we all might look forward to exchanging presents at Christmas, one of the greatest joys of the festive season is the chance to tuck in to copious amounts of food.

‘Tis the season for over indulgence, and thankfully this year both sweet and savoury treats are not in short supply. Supermarket shelves are brimming with a huge assortment of meats, side dishes, desserts, party food and various tasty nibbles to choose from - and at some bargain prices, too.
