Sparrows takes flight with 140 new jobs
The company – which employs more than 1,600 staff, including about 1,000 in the UK – has already recruited 195 workers this year. Sites in Africa and Europe will also benefit from the latest jobs expansion.
Chief executive Doug Sedge said: “Our confidence in the global offshore market and our robust order book has given us the confidence to kick-start a major recruitment campaign. The positions will bolster our existing team to work on new and existing contracts and help us gear up capacity for further business.”

Hide AdThe group, which has 19 bases globally, is also expanding its training programme. Sparrows currently employs 36 graduate engineer trainees, 15 engineering apprentices, six draughting apprentices and more than 150 offshore technicians.
