Sinotrans nominee joins Interbulk board
INTERBULK, the Aim-quoted chemicals transportation company in which engineering tycoon Jim McColl holds a stake, has appointed a new Chinese executive director.
Hu Song was nominated by Sinotrans, the Chinese chemicals giant, which took a 35.3 per cent stake in Interbulk in May.
Koert van Wissen, chief executive of InterBulk, said: “This appointment reconfirms Sinotrans’ stated commitment to ensure its network and businesses are fully engaged to support InterBulk’s developments in China and in the rest of the world.”
